"Peace Education" is a comprehensive approach to education that aims at equipping children and young people with the necessary values, skills and knowledge needed to prevent violence and develop a culture of peace on all levels of life. Misriyati started offering specialized “Peace Education” services for the educational sector in 2013.
Example of previous assignments include assessment of educational spaces with regards to educational climate and inclusion, design of educational interventions and project frameworks, design and implementation of trainings on diversity, conflict resolution and mediation at school, design of a mindfulness program, and design of educational games.

Our trainings and workshops introduce participants to the concepts of peace education and provide a space to reflect over practice and learn with and from others. They adopt a self-reflective, experience based, and interactive methodology. Every time trainings are provided, Misriyati customizes content to the needs of the hosting institution whether in formal schooling or non-formal education settings.

2. Mentoring and Coaching
Misriyati supports educators or organizations who/that are willing to introduce relevant peace education practices in their workplace. Mentoring and coaching services include:
- Accompanying group reflection for addressing challenges and introducing relevant changes using peace education approaches.
- Co-Design of relevant activities or educational projects with teachers
- One on one mentoring.
3. Peer Mediation Program
The peer mediation program is addressed to students or participants of an educational space. It involves training some children or youth for them to intervene and help resolve disputes among their fellow students. Peer mediation is one of the alternatives that can be used to handle conflicts within classroom setting or in the playground, relieving the teacher from the duty of resolving disputes and arbitration and, on the other hand, giving the students the chance to acquire the skills of peaceful conflict resolution.
